Install Lezmark Printer

I called Lexmark and was advised that there company does not provide Lexmark Printer Drivers for the Linux OP. I have a lexmark, model X5150 printer that I like and use in my business and would not replace it for anything. I have heard that the Lunix printer driver for the Z55 printer will alow my X5150 to function. Do you download the Z55 driver from Lexmark, in the WindowsXP system, then Linux will alow you to install that driver as simply as if you were in WindowsXP? Do you have to re-write the programing for the Linux OP for the driver to function? Please Help.........

I'm afraid that Lexmark lied to you.

http://www.lexmark.com/lexmark/seque...6_0_en,00.html

There you can find the driver and instructions to install th Z55, which should also be able to interface with the printing part of your printer.
