Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

Install a wireless usb hub to linux

Hi I am installing ubuntu 8.10 on my laptop, I used to use windows on this m/c and have a wireless usb hub attached which has an external drive and printer attached.

How do I get the O/S to see the wirless hub at startup?

I am using the belkin wireless hub and an internal wireless adapter on my gateway laptop.

I decided to put linux on this laptop after using ubuntu successfully on my main pc.
