Inspiron E1505

I recently bought a Dell Inspiron E1505 (Core Duo T2400 @ 1.83Ghz, ATI x1400,
1G DDR2 SDRAM) and would like to install Linux on it, I especially need the graphics card, wide screen resolution and Dell Wireless 5700 Mobile Broadband (CDMA EV-DO) Express card to work properly. Does anybody have this laptop that can suggest a good distro? I am leaning towards SuSE.

EDIT: Just realised there is a laptop forum, sorry.

Try downloading a liveCD like Knoppix or Ubuntu and booting it. That'll give you a quick check to see how bad your problems will be.

Also, checkout tuxmobil and linux-on-laptops to see if anyone has successfully installed a distro on that particular model.
