IDSN USB modem problem

I have just bought an IDSN USB modem
BEWAN Gazel 128USB IDSN .
I somehow imagined that it would be recignised immediately by my MDK10 but I cant find any trace of it in /dev/usb the KPPP configuration i have tried
dev/usb/tty/ACMO -ACM3
and
dev/usb/tty/USB0 - USB3
and
dev/usb/tt2/0 -3
nothing works the modem is not found
Its not a compatibility issue because i checked befor bying it

Could somebody point me in the right direction to solve this or tell me what I can do further to solve the problem

Also, I suggest you try pluging in some other USB device into your USB port. Try running the command "lsusb" on multiple devices and see what results you get.

Hi thanks for the answer.

I have my usb scanner running fine so the usb port works

I had a look at the above link and i dont know where to start looking .
I mean this is just to set up an isdn usb modem and I cant find anything in there about it.

What files would I have to get to to set this up
