IDE Hardware RAID

Hello all,

I'm having some issues getting my RAID0 working on Debian Sarge.

I have a PCI PATA RAID card and have created a r0 on pri master and sec master.

I then boot into linux and is sees them as 2 seperate devices: /dev/hde /dev/hdg

lspci:
0000:01:01.0 RAID bus controller: Silicon Image, Inc. (formerly CMD Technology Inc) PCI0680 Ultra ATA-133 Host Controller (rev 02)

here is the card itself: http://www.sunix.com.tw/it/en/Produc..._id=34&sid=192

any ideas would be great.

I have had a look around the net but most raid stuff i've found is generally about software raid.

thanks

The card is not hardware RAID. Its software RAID. Use dmraid.

Yea it's a RAID card. I was told that software RAID will be better than hardware for that cheapy card so i've done that instead. Runs all good :)
