Question Ide burner

I have bought this Ide burner. I can use it for reading perfect, but when I try to mount a clear cd it says:
Code:
"mount /mnt/cdrom 2>&1" reported:"
mount: wrong filsystemtype, wrong add on /dev/cdrom,
eller for mange mounted filsystems (could this be the IDE device where you in fact use ide-scsi so that sr0 or sda or so is needed?)
I have looked in /dev, but couldn't find anything called sr0 or so.
Code:
# mount /dev/sda /mnt/cdrom
mount: /dev/sda is not a valid blockelemnt
Anyone know if I need to do some modprobe or something before I can use the burning function?

If you are using scsi-emulation, try /dev/scd0 . Otherwise just try the regualer IDE devices (hda, hdb, hdc ...).

Edit: You don't mount a blank cd to write to it, you use cdrecord or a gui for cdrecord. Try running 'cdrecord -scanbus' to list devices.

Ah, now it works. It was just the blank cd mounting thing...
Thanks
