IBM server 6i raid(linux 9) does not recognize hard disc
 

We have purchased and installed IBM server X 225 series and configured raid with IBM 6i raid controller. But when I am trying to install linux 9 OS it does not recognize the hard disc.

This morning I've successfully installed an IBM x225 server!
Before installing Linux, you must:
- run "IBM ServeRAID x.xx Support CD" ("x.xx" is the version number) to update controller's firmware
- run "IBM ServerGuide x.x Setup and Installation Driver Repository" CD to configure RAID creating one or more logical volumes.
Both CDs are bootable.

I am trying to load SuSE 9 on an IBM xSeries 206M. It is not finding my SATA hard drive. I have been on the phone with IBM for hours and not getting anywhere. I have downloaded more drivers and read more TXT file than I care to admit. Also their documentation is all wrong as far as how to install updates while installing the OS. This is my first install and it has been a nightmare. I have tried everything in the previous posts...
