My parents recently bought this printer, I am presently trying to set it up via cups. I seem to have it fine in windows, the name and address appear fine in my settings, but I am unable to find a driver that will work. I installed the newer gimp-print and still no support, does anyone know how I can get this thing working?
I went out and picked up one of these after a long comparison to the Epson Stylus r300M Photo Printer. I haven't been able to find any support information for it online, although, it works with the Canon BJC-7000 gimp-print driver. A little better with the gimp-print-ijs driver. This isn't to say it works well. The colors are off, and the right margin cuts off a little, but not enough to mess up any doc I'm printing. No report on photo printing yet, I haven't gotten to that yet. I hope this helps.
