I need to develop an interrupts simmulator, does this internal diagram work for me?

I am a computer science student... I have to develop a simmulator that will show a person how 040h interrupt works (It is caused by the video card)... (Computer Architecture)

In order to do that I need to represent the internal architecture of a computer (obviously just using what I need)...

I made this diagram:

Is it wrong?

If so, please recommend me the ways I can get it fixed...

Do video cards use an IO device?

Can a mouse be connected to a PCI bus? or do I have to draw a new one?

Thanks a lot...

Can u suggest me somewhere I can find the way the cpu communicates with the video card in order to change pixels into de screen?

Ex. User changes the background colour to an rgb solid color, how does the cpu send that info to the vc in order to make the changes into the screen?
