Question I need instructions for CentOS belkin f5d7000 wireless card installation

Hello everyone,
I am having doubts about this whole procedure... Does CentOS 5.3 offer wireless connections with a Broadcom chipset? Here is some valuable output from my terminal.

In addition, I have downloaded ndiswrapper-1.56

I guess what I am trying to ask is what folder do I put my drivers into to make this card work? I have the Windoze drivers cd which ndiswrapper is supposed to use, from what I have read. (btw, I don't believe Mad Wi-Fi will work for me because my chipset IS NOT Atheros, it is BROADCOM.)

I have even gone through the GUI to SYSTEM > ADMINISTRATION > NETWORK and manipulated the settings in there. CentOS "sees" my card, but just doesn't know how to communicate. Upon boot-up, eth0, my hardwire, enables OK, but eth1 (my wireless card) says it failed, and to "check cable?" Does anyone have experience with this?

I would like to get this to work b/c everytime I want to boot up my terminal without the use of virtualization software, I have to run ~50 feet of CAT5 to my router, as my desktop is upstairs and my router/switch is downstairs!

Thanks in advance,

Clev II

Yes, you have a driver for this card, bcm43xx loading. You just need firmware.

Instructions here.
