I need a live distro for quick test of HW

I am dealing quite a lot with used equipment and I was wondering if there is any good distro to test for example used laptops in short time lets say max. 20 minutes.

I am using now an USB dong with Ubuntu and Enemy Territory shooter game. I run memtest and when it passes I "test" cpu and graphic card with the game, however I would like to have something more.... descriptive... for testing that is lol

I am already using an USB distro of Ubuntu got a game for stress test there. What I need is some software that can warn me if some HW seems not to be working or can measure performance etc...

Hi,

KNOPPIX, Slax 5.1.8, UBCD Ultimate Boot CD are just a few of the LiveCDs that I use for diagnosis.
The UBCD is good one to have around. memtest86 is on all of the ones I posted. If you are diagnosing machines then you are not running the memtest86 long enough. I usually do at least a dozen passes initially. Then perform other test on the system. Once that is done then I will let memtest86 run overnight.
