Question I need a compatible ethernet ADSL modem for SUSE 10

I have a network card that was recognized by SUSE 10, the problem is my ADSL modem is Zoom 5110A USB modem which is not working under SUSE 10 so I'm thinking of buying a new ethernet ADSL.
I need a list of compatible ethernet ADSL modems for SUSE 10
Do I need a driver for an ethernet ADSL modem or just to connect its cable to my network card?
I hope you can help

I have installed three different Zoom ADSL modem / routers / firewalls on different linux machines. The ethernet versions are very easy to set up and configure.
You just plug in the ethernet cable, put the zoom's address into your browser, configure it, and you're off.

Then you just plug in the ethernet cable (if it is not already plugged in).
I'm not at linux right now (at work) but as I remember the magic commands to bring up your connection are:

su
Give password
ifdown eth0
dhclient eth0

If this gives you a connection, then I'd just put those commands (except the su bit) at the end of the file /etc/rc.d/rc.local and you'll be connected each time you boot.

Have you an physical link to ADSL Router
Have your EthernetCard an IP-Address (192.168.1.1)? Your ISP give you (DHCP) a new one.
Have you a route to your ADSL GW (LAN interface)?

route -n
Kernel IP routing table
Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use Iface
0.0.0.0 10.10.10.253 0.0.0.0 UG 0 0 0 eth1
