Very sory if it happens that I am twice posting this question, it is not the point.

I use Debian Linux version 2.4.18 (root@beta) (gcc version 2.95.4 ...
I have an HP 3550 - USB which is present when I cat /proc/bus/usb/devices
but I am not able to communicate with it. cat something > /dev/usb/lp0 does nothing
at all. Give me thread to start with...
