--Hw Detect Prallel Printer--

Installation found the Epson USB printer and installed drivers.

It did Not Detect the Samsung ML 1430 connected to the Parallel Port. It was turned on like the Epson.

What do I do to Detect the Samsung connected to the Parallel Port ?

First off, you did not specify what distribution or kernel you are using. Secondly, I am not sure that one can detect a specific printer connected to a parallel port.
