HPIJS printer driver trouble

I'm having trouble getting a HP812C printer on a WinME box to print though Samba 2.2.1a and HPIJS 0.97-1. I'm completely baffled by the wide range of options I can set. Has any had any luck with this setup. What options did you use?

I use the gimp-print drivers on cups for my HP810c, I've found them to be excellent drivers.

I have the hp 812c and I use the cdj880 drivers and they work fine.

I have the cdj880 drivers already. What options did you set? With printtool if thats what you used, or what files should I modify?

I used the printconf-gui in Redhat 7.2. My printer is connected via usb not a parralell port. I selected the cdj880 drivers restarted the print daemon and printed a test page. I just left all the default settings.
