Hp Photosmart 735 in Red Hat 9.0


Hello

I was wondering have anyone of you tried to use photosmart 735 in linux because i cant find drivers for it anywhere.. camera connects itself to USB and appears to computer as a harddrive.

So is the any way i could mount the camera as a harddrive ?
And if there is could somebody please tell me how..

I'm not sure about your camera, but that's what I do with mine

just make a folder /mnt/camera
and type
mount /dev/sda /mnt/camera

does this only work if you have a mem card in the camera, or should it read the internal memory of the camera aswell??

cause i did what you mentioned and i cant see any of my photos, jsut files with names like 001, 006, dunno what they are or how to open them.....oh and as you mightve guessed, i dont have a mem card in the card.
