So I install the HP drivers for the K60 from SourceForge. Now CUPS sees the printer, but not accurately. When I try to print a test page, CUPS claims that the assignment went succesfully to the printer.
Here's what I get for the printers page for CUPS
Quote:
HP OfficeJet K60 Foomatic/hpijs (recommended)

Printer State: stopped, accepting jobs.
"Unable to open USB device "usb://HP/OfficeJet%20K%20Series?serial=SG09CB20CNOH": No such device"

Note, I have CUPS v1.1.20
After deleting the two printers, I try again, creating the first one. After creating and clicking on Print Test Page, this is the new status:

"Media tray empty!"

Any suggestions? Someone also told me about creating a script so that my computer doesn't confuse printers and such, but I think I'll start to worry about that once I can get this first one to work.
