Question HP nic card not recognised in RH linux 9

hi
i cannot get my internet working.. i use a HP EN1207D-TX PCI 10/100 Fast Ethernet Adapter for a LAN connection and when i installed linux RH 9 ( as a parallel OS) firstly i'm not prompted the network configuration screen during the installatio and secondly when im trying to do cinfiguration from the gnome environment it ays the network adapter that i have selected ( my adapter was not listed i selected a HP lan ) is not present and intialization of the same is delayed. now i assume it is because i need to install the drivers in linux ... ive been searching for them on the net but not been able to find it........ whats my problem and how do i get by it....

please help
