HP Laserjet P1007 Printer error on fedora 17 repeated

Hi all,
I installed HP Laserjet P1007 printer on Fedora 17 system using the command sh hplip-3.12.11.run yesterday. This has the reference to yesterdays post http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...-a-4175445641/
However after restarting my system I was not able to print and I had use the yesterdays command again to reinstall it. After reinstallation i was able to print few pages, but on the same document when again the the print command it failed to print.
Not able to understand what has happened.
I checked localhost:631 it shows the state as:
completed at Wed 16 Jan 2013 11:11:38 AM IST
But nothing was printed.

Please suggest

Regards
Fabe

The by-the-book way to install a printer with HPLIP is to run hp-setup from the command line or to use the HPLIP GUI (hp-toolbox as user from the command line; in many repos, it's a separate package from HPLIP). I would suggest giving that a whirl.

I can confirm frankbell's suggestion of using hp-setup. I have an HP P1007. When I installed it, the hp-setup command configured the printer perfectly. I use Debian, but I believe it should also work with Fedora. You might also want to check Fedora's documentation. The command may have an additional character or two. For example, with Debian the actual command is hp-setup -i
