HP Deskjet print fails to work on OOo

Hi folks,

FedoraCore3

I have the HP Deskjet 5740 printer setup. It works on .txt, browser, etc. except OpenOffice Writer documents. I can't discover the cause.

On OOoWriter doc
File -> Print

Name of Printer always showing "Deskjet 5700-2". I can't delete it. Deskjet 5700 was detected during booting. On other applications it shows HP_Printer, Deskjet 5740 and printing works.

I tried many times and can't get this problem solved. Please advise. TIA

Not sure this works with FC as well....
Go to OOo printing manager and set up "lpr-cups" or "kprinter" instead of "lpr" as printing command line in the dialog window

Tks for your advice.

Problem has been solved. I left out one step. After configuring the HP Printer and having the new data saved I must restart CUP which solved my problem.

It is a little bid strange here. On my OS on KDE desktop

KStart -> Office
I can't find the printing manager there. How to get it back? What command link will start the "printing manager" of OOo
