Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

Question HP compatible printers in CentOS 6.4

I presently have an HP LaserJet P2015 working in CentOS 6.4 but
it is nearing the end of its days. I would like to replace it
with a P2035 or some other printer in the HP LaserJet line.
The site "http://www.openprinting.org/printers/manufacturer/HP"
does not list the P2035 or any other currerntly available laser
printer it seems. Does the P2035 have full functionally in CentOS (CUPS, HPLIP?) and if not can you recommend something else that
works out of the box?

Mine works with CUPS 1.5.4 - HP LaserJet P2035 - HP LaserJet p2035 zjs, hpcups 3.12.9, requires proprietary plugin
http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web...jet_p2035.html

IDK what "requires proprietary plugin" means, it just "works".
Toner Cartridges are $90.00 at bestbuy.

If you do not mind the HP ink prices ( the most expensive in the world )

any new HP printer will do

Though there might be a few that might not have the greatest of support
Keep the receipt just in case

Thanks for the info. I will consider my options.
I may buy a refurbished 2015 or take my chanches
on a new HP laserjet.
