Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

HP A250N 4 in 1 internal card reader

First off everything does work, I have configured my system with USB mount and the disks are accessible but only if I run sg_map. That is basically my questions, how can I "skip" typing in sg_map every time I mount one or all of the disks?

info:
Code:
#cat /proc/version
Linux version 2.6.8 (root@water) (gcc version 3.3.4 (Debian 1:3.3.4-13)) #1 SMP Sun Oct 10 20:01:19 EDT 2004

# cat /proc/scsi/scsi
