HP 641 Smart Array Controller and Suse Enterprise Server 8.0
 

Hi

I m using HP Proliant DL380 Server with Smart Array 641 RAID Controller Card having 3 ultra SCSI hotplug hard drives. This server also has a built in Smart Array 5i RAID Controller Card. The
problem is Suse Linux 8.0 is working fine with the built in Array Card but not recongnizing that 641 card.

I have to use Suse Linux 8.0 with 641 Card. As i run Suse Setup on this machine it asks for parameter for this 641 RAID Card CCISS. i dunno what to do here. i duuno what shold be the parameters for this 641 RAID Card ... in other words we can say that Suse Linux 8.0 is not picking up this card and i m not getting any sort of driver for Suse Linux 8.0.

please help me to get rid of this.
