HOWTO enable TV Out on Hercules Prophet 4000XT?
Hi folks,
after reading tons of documentation, hacking till my finger bleed I got my Hercules Prophet 4000XT running smoothly on my Suse 8.2 and athlon-kernel (even with 3D) but....
...still after searching the WWW for one week I'm not able to enable the TV-Out under X (KDE)
TV-Out is enabled when booting in Text-Mode and starting SAX2 with it's default VGA-Configuration (8bit), so it's not impossible, but after configuring X to use my Hercules card and my Belinea Monitor TV Out is disabled.
I've already tried to insert some of the various PAL/NTSC-Modelines floating around in my Modes-Section but they're thrown out on startup (invalid clock/mode/blah....)
I've also tried to select a --VESA - Monitor (800x600 at 60Hz) without success.
The Power-VR-Driver-Readme says, the driver ignores the Modelines specified in the XF86Config
Does anybody has anymore ideas?
And finally: Why is there a Primary and a Secondary Screen offered in my SAX2 for configuration? Why is it possible to configure a multihead display? AFAIK the Hercules 4000XT produces only one output for TV and Monitor!??
TIA,
Errik
