hello,
i have an asus a2500h. suse 10 detects the irda, and yast can probe the machine (other computer) that is inline with the irda. but i don't know how to send files through that irda, or receive data from devices/other computer
please help,
thanks
try to see if you can configure it as a serial node (/dev/ttyS?) or has been configured already as one, then you can use any of the hyperterm emulators in linux to do the file transfers for you (cu, minocom..etc)
hello,
i've used irdadump, and my laptop recognizes the cellphone, and then i
used cat /proc/net/irda/discovery, so i know the address of my cellphone,
and by using irdaping address, i could ping to it
but now, how can i send files? i've tried openobex-apps (i can't find one
suitable for suse), by compiling the source, but i can't get the irxfer to
work (it doesn't even exist)
