I have been googling around, but didnt find what Im looking for. So I was wondering how to rotate the screen (the output of course, I can turn the monitor myself =) ) 90 degrees, so that I can use the whole width of it(that would be hight, yes?). Im very interested in how to do this with _both_ X(org) and with the bare CLI. I am for the notice using Ubuntu Gutsy prerelease ATM.
I see several uses for this, besides the sheer awsomness of course, although I do not know if it is actually possible on normal screens. Maybe I have to buy one that just is higher than it is wide. But I have seen screens sideways on airports and such, and I would like to believe it is possible under linux (and *BSD's of course).
