How To Setup CDMA modem with Serial Connection
 

I have just acquired an internet access line via CDMA fixed wireless line (not mobile). Configuring in windows is quite simple and straight forward. You add the modem as a standard 33600 modem then you enter the initialization commands in the advance button of the modem properties.

My question is how does one configure this modem for linux? The modem is built into LG LSP 3000 CDMA phone. It is connected to my PC via the COM port (COM1).

I have searched google and haven't come up with much to go on.

Will appreciate if anyone can help out.
