How to setup a printer in cups?
 

I have no network or anything, but I never really had experience wih printers and linux, i have a desktop, running gentoo, I have cups installed too, I got a Samsung ML-1740, and I need to know how to set it up

from any browser, it's a web interface for cups. the link above leads you to the proper drivers, ppd files, etc.

I' sorry, i just realized Samsung has it's own linux driver on the cd. Sorry for not realizing that :(.
