Since this is a server, do you have room on the main board for several network cards?

I suspect the card is in the wrong slot, and reporting eth2/eth3.

You could also try to reconfigure the lan to use eth2/eth3 instead of eth0/eth1.

- well on my mainboard there`s 3 slots pci .. i used 2 of them for LAN card . but when the malfunctions begin ( its say eth2 and eth3 ) ... i try to swicth 2 new LANcard on every 3 pci`s slot . i delete all the ip configuration using YAST .. but when i reconfigure it and reboot the machine .. the lancard still eth2 and eth3 .. i swicth with the other pci .. and so on .. but nothin` change .. my ethernet still read with eth2 and eth3

+ I suspect the card is in the wrong slot, and reporting eth2/eth3.
- how come the card is in the wrong slot ?? you mean i have to change the card with the original position when i install suse linux ? ok i`m gonna try this one . thx bro .
