How to plug in external USB CD-ROM drive?

I have a GoGo external USB CD-ROM drive. All instructions are in Chinese.

The back of the drive has one plug that has a logo with three circles all in a row. The first circle is a minus, the middle circle is a dot, and the final cirle is a plus. The other plug has a trident.

The drive came with two cords. One is all USB (easy to figure out where this goes). The second cord is odd though. One end fits in the hole with the three circles. The other end is forked: one plug is PS/2 the other is USB.

Do both plugs cords need to be plugged in simultaneously or do I just choose one of them?

The other port is for power. You only need to use that if the drive doesn't power up with only the single USB connection.

Even if you do need it, only use PS/2 or USB. Don't plug it into both.
