How doesn't it work? Does it not compile right? Overclocking on an *FX card isn't very good, as they have a special feature in them that switches from 2D mode (low clock speeds, like 70MHz) to 3D mode (the higher speeds). While doing that, it overwrites any clock speeds previously in there, so your clocking is overwritten. NVClock hasn't found an effective way around this yet.
I am using Nvclock, installed ok. When I try to overclock using the force option, I get a segmentation fault error. I can overclock this card in windows xp and it works great, so I am assuming I need to get nvclock working right or need to go about this another way. If i can just overclock it some, doom3 will work awesome in hi res!!

Well, I don't think the author has implemented a workaround for the 3D switch on the card yet. As for primary OCing, I assume you're using the 0.7 tarball. Don't. It's not supported. Try the CVS version instead.
PS: DooM3 is one of those games where detail is better than res. I run High at 800x600, it's great .
