Exclamation How to load emu10k1 driver


Hello

I wanted to know how to load emu10k1 driver for getting my creative labs sb audigy to play.
And what lines i must add to /etc/modprobe.conf

soundcard

Have you tried alsaconf in root yet?
what does your 'lspci | grep audio' say
and 'lsmod' too

alsaconf(in root) gives me command not found

soundcard

The lsmod says that your distro detected ca0106 as your driver and the ac97 is the driver for the mobo audio
check alsamixer switch and turn on Analog/Digital Output Jack
digital speakers required though.
Your soundcard is the Creative Labs SB Audigy LS
check here at Alsa to confirm the driver.

try this
]# locate alsaconf
maybe /usr/sbin/alsaconf or some other file, however, it may not be needed.

I tried a lot of changes in this but no result.I can't find the Analog/Digital Output Jack that you say.
At the alsa site i can't figure what to do.How to load the driver and which exactly lines i must add to /etc/modprobe.conf
