How to install Wifi Card Atheros ar5005G on Ubuntu?

I've got an Acer Aspire 3503WLMi and it has an Atheros Ar5005G wifi-card...and Ubuntu does not recognise it...someone has tried to install it?
Thanks

If Atheros base then you will need to install madwifi-ng. Not sure how on ubuntu but searching here for ubuntu and madwifi should help. Also same can apply on www.google.com. There might be a faq for ubuntu on madwifi web site.

You should be able to get that working with just what comes with Ubuntu. The driver is called MadWifi Most Atheros based chipsets are supported by MadWifi. Check out http://www.madwifi.org/Wiki/UserDocs/FirstTimeHowTo or http://madwifi.org/wiki/UserDocs/Distro/Ubuntu for a basic walkthrough.

Also - this was all a simple google search away. Most people would appreciate it if you would try to find the answer on your own before you come and ask us.
