How To Install Redhat Linux 9 On Sata Hardisk

Hi
I Am New User Of Linux When I Tried To Install Redhat Linux 9 On My 80gb Seagate Sata Hardisk, Linux Setup Failed To Detect My Hardisk. Please Some One Help Me How To Install Redhat Linux 9 On Sata Hardisk.

Please Help Me To Find New Driver For The Hardisk And How To Install It Etc. And Most Importantly Does Redhat Linux Support Sata Hardisk.

Thanks.

Why do you want to install Red Hat 9 in the first place?

Because i am new to linux so someone told me to install red hat 9 because it is very easy to install and it is not difficult because of the gui.

if you have know any other linux distribution which is also very easy, has gui and also detect my sata hardisk so please help me but remember i am new and beginner to linux world.

That someone should have also told you that Red Hat 9 is out of date now. Choose any newer distribution, Fedora Core 4 is similar to Red Hat 9 so you may want to try that. You shouldn't have problems with SATA drives, either.
