I have Internal Intel MOdem named Intel(R) Ham 5628 V.92
It is connected at Com4.
but not detected by linux.

I am using Red Hat 7.3 Linux distribution

i have linux software for this modem but i don't know the use it
the file name are
(1) INTEL-536EP-425TAR.GZ
(2) INTEL-536EP-425TARGZ.SIG

now what should i do

Well first things first; why have you posted this here? It belongs in the hardware section.
Well I went to the intel site to look for the installation instructions. Are you sure you have the right files for this paticular modem? I doubt it!

If you ask me, you need the INTEL-V92HAM-453.TGZ file according to this page:

Download the file and do

from the command line. After you have done that, there will be a directory Intel-v92ham-453. Read the readme.txt file in there for installation instructions.
