How to install Canon BJC 1000SP in SUSE Linux

I'm a newbie in Linux and just installed SUSE Linux PRO 9.3.
I got a problem making my Canon BJC 1000SP Printer work in this OS. Would appreciate to get suggestions from Linux experts. Thanks. - Ginx
