How to install a printer driver on RH 9


Hi
I want to know how I can install a drivers for my Lexmark multifuncion printer. I already downloaded the driver from lexmark but I don't know how to install it in a console. Thanks.

Step 1. Delete Redhat 9, it's been dead for over 3 years now, and no one needs to be using it any more, or trying to get new drivers working with ancient software.

Step 2. Install modern, up to date distro. (fedorah, suse, ubuntu, anything recent). Most likely the printer will work without bothering to install anything extra.
