How to install a .o driver?


Hello,

Could anybody briefly describe or point me to some articles talk about how the drivers in Linux works, and generally speaking, how to install a driver on Linux?

Hi,
Here's some info:

To install, copy the module over to the /lib/modules/kernel-ver/misc/
