How to get X working on monitor AND TV-out

I have a MSI GF4 MX 420.

I can get X output to show on the Monitor, or through the TV-Out. How do I get the same thing showing on both (like it does when booting up until X fires up)?

I'm building a home Theater PC (MythTV), and I'd like to get the same output showing up on both so that I can have all the menus and everything working along with the TV-out on the TV, but still also have it on the monitor because it is way easier to edit the text files or any of the maintenance work on the monitor.

I'm running Fedora Core 2, and have been fiddling with my xorg.conf file, but I can only get output on one connection or the other - not both.

How do I do this?

I'd personally get the thing completely going, no need to 'edit text files' or any typing whatsover from the TV, and then detach the monitor, and set the TV.

Anyway...

What release of nvidia drivers are you using? The TwinView Options is where you are going to want to look. I'm away from my computer right now, so I can't give you exactly what to set, but looking at the Nvidia.readme maybe:
Option "ConnectedMonitor" "string"
Where "string" is something like CRT,TV

Option "TwinView" "enable"
Option "TwinViewOrientation" "Clone"

Try those..

Cool
