How to configure mutiple video input card

how can i install a multiple input, video, card in linux.how it would be configured.???

Please include some actual details about what you are trying to do, such as the video card you are using, your distro, and what kind of configuration you are trying to set up. Are you just trying to install it, or are you trying to do something special with it such as set up a dual head? Your comment is too vague to respond to as it now stands. -- J.W.

Hi!

i have a four input video card from hauppauge with bt878A chip.when i use "/dev/video0" to access Ist input channel it works fine.but if i try "/dev/video1" for input from 2nd channel no video is displayed.same wtih srd and 4th input channel.I will be attaching camera with each input to monitor different areas.Is there any thing wrong with this device Configuration on linux or i have to do something else.I want to read all four inputs of card at a time.
