How to add more GB's and Ram to a dual booted box

Hi,

I have a dual booted hd.

I want to add another 256mb RAM and 40GB to my hd.

How will this effect the partition?

Will it (at all)?

Will I need to reinstall windoze?

How does it work?

As long as you stick the HD in as a slave, nothing will be affected other than you having an extra 40GB of space for whatever you want. The upgraded ram should also affect nothing.
