How to add another Hard Disk Drive?

Ok, I did all the necessary prequirements to format a drive. I've done it a million times, just, I never made one on a running system. I have always done it when I was installing an OS (slackware, DSL, etc). I have done the following on Ubuntu 5.04 so far...

# fdisk /dev/hdb
# n < -- (used the whole drive)
# w
# mkresierfs /dev/hdb1

Now I don't know what to make the mount point in etc/fstab or even if I should do that just yet. Any information would be great! Tyvm!

# mount /dev/hdb1 /previously/created/directory
