How set up a webcam in fedora 5

Hi,
I have a logitech quickcam 4000 pro and I don't really know how to get it to run.
I installed the pwc-10.0.11 driver and that seemed to work.
(I didn't recompile the kernel, since I found a link in the internet, claiming that it should work without.)
modprobe pwc worked fine, too.

And here is my question: How do I actually use the webcam with this driver? What do I have to do to configure it?

Ekiga found it before as Logitech Quickcam Pro and gave me only a grey screen and it does the exact same thing now.

Thanks for your help!

try xawtv

make sure video-for-linux is compiled into the kernel or a module

then, try the xawtv application
