How do I use my USB Docking station?
Hello,
I just bought this uber-laptop and I'm trying to use it with a Targus USB docking station that I bought with it.
The docking station connects to the laptop via a single USB port. It has 4 USB ports, a VGA port, an audio out, an audio in, an ethernet port and a serial port.
The USB ports seem to work fine automatically; they behave like a hub, and I can use an external USB kerboard/mouse with them.
The VGA and audio outs do NOT work fine--I have no idea how to use either! Is there anyone here who knows how to use such a device as this?
Thank you!
Note: System specs in sig...

Nope. I figured it would be too much trouble to try and make any docking station work; I wouldn't even know which one to get. However, I do just fine to use a 4-port hub for all my usb stuff (Keyboard/mouse receiver, joypad receiver, various USB charging cables) and the onboard VGA output for my flat panel and stereo audio output for my sound system. It takes slightly longer to disconnect/reconnect each thing manually but it's not a really big deal because they're all on the right edge of the laptop. I just keep the cables all bundled with one of those little Velcro straps (they sell them at Wal-Mart, target, even some video game resale shops). The only real problem I have it the fact that I have to unplug, roll up, and pack my AC cable, but a docking station wouldn't have helped me with that anyway.
