how do i mount external enclosures?


i tried
Code:
mount /dev/sda1
but did not work.

how do i mount it?

what is "it"? please explain what you've actually got... you can't just mount an enclosure.. it need a drive inside... if this is a usb device, it's worth just plugging it in an runnign "dmesg" to see if it says where it has been placed.
