How do I install HP Printer

I have a driver, and I have the printer. I've tried to do the fancy command line stuff, but the error message said that the package was corrupted. When I went into the gui setup for my printer, I saw it on the list, but I don't know how to install the driver. Could someone please tell me how to install the printer

Try here. I know it's for Debian but I used it on Slack. Also try redownloading from LinuxPrinting. I have an HP Laserjet 4050, and it works from a charm.

if your driver was corrupted you can download hp printer drivers for linux. just search the web for it.
