How do i find the correct kernal-module for alsa instalation


I have RH9 kernel 2.4.20-28.9. Athlon processor. I am trying to install alsa on my comp but I can't find kernel-module for my architecture. Where can I find this or if not where can I find a src rpm or other. I am kinda new to linux so please help.

I have gateway select series 1200 athlon, sound blaster live. my speakers are boston acoustics digital in. hence the need for alsa.

is a matrix of cards with links to instructions on how to set things up specifically for those cards it looks like you need emu10k1

also you can just use 2.6 and compile the alsa emu10k1 driver that is already integrated if you know how to compile kernels on your own, if not...theres no time like the present to learn something new
