How do i empty the wireless cards firmware folder.

I have tried to install my broadcom 802.11b/g card numerous times on the latest ubuntu and i'm pretty ceratin the fact that i havn't emptied out the folder with the drivers in is part of the problem.
can you tell me where the folder is that will need emptying out. thnx

1. You should uninstall it if possible

# make uninstall

if not You could try to locate it somewhere in /lib/modules/*/*...
and the firmware belongs to:
or likewise...

please report progress :-)
