how configure the serial ports on MINI2440

Hello to all
First of all, I am French thus watch to excuse me if my English is not correct.
I possess a MINI2440 with the touch-sensitive screen, the bone is QT. I would wish convert the signal UART TTL of the serial port 1 to RS485 for it the I have make the converter in May I need the signal RTS of this serial port. Bit is present on the pine J11 of the S3C2440 (to see page 3 http://resources.mini-box.com/online...specs.pdf).But this pine is also the TXD of the serial port 2 and in my case the MINI2440 is configured so that J11 is TXD2. I would thus like to know if somebody knows how we configure serial ports. I have make stty - f / dev / tts / 1 - has but that gives me that the information about the serial ports 1.

PS: the serial port 0 is already used.

Thank you in advance.

There are two ways that I am aware of, to configure serial ports. However, both methods may not do what you wish, because, if I understand you correctly, it appears that what you need to do can only be done by hardware: I mean that you need to set jumpers on the serial card, to change it's characteristics in that way, such as altering what each pin does.

If using Linux, I suggest you look at /etc/serial.conf if this file exists on your computer; OR, investigate the `setserial` command. You can read about `setserial` by looking at the man-page:

shell$ man setserial

If you are using Windows, I cannot help. Please tell us what Operating System you are using on your MINI2440 for this task, and also try to clarify what is "The bone is QT" as this part is unclear to me.

Also, if it appears that I am misunderstanding you, please try again -- take your time, you did pretty well this time!

Thanks/Merci,
Sasha

Thank you to have answered me quickly.
I use QTopia as the following video shows it:
http://www.thaieasyelec.net/index.ph...oard/p_53.html
I have directly access to pines TXD1, RXD1 and RTS1 thus that it is not a problem.
This weekend I could not test the commands because I not ais not mini2440 on me.

thank you again.
