Unhappy How can I set up my Printer driver properly? I have the drivers. (slackware v 12.1)

I'm new to linux. I have slackware v 12.1
I am using a konica minolta bizhub c20 multi-functional printer.
http://konicaminolta.ca/business/pro...C20/index.html
I can network print.
Problem: When I click properties from the print screen I have no options (only paper size select and duplex)

Desired solution: emulate the windows functionality where I can change paper size/type, tray selection, colour/grayscale, quality etc...

Maybe you guys know of a utlility from konica minolta for linux users.

I used COMMON UNIX PRINT SYSTEM.

If you need more information please let me know.

Thanks,

bizhub.

Hi,

welcome to LQ.

In your favorite web browser, type in the address bar following URL:

http://localhost:631

Then go to Printers => (your printer) => Set printer options.

If your CUPS server run on another box, replace localhost by its IP.

EDIT If asked for credentials, type root / root_password
